A Diploma Course over a 15 Month Period Theory & Practical Weekends.

In ancient times, physical and spiritual healing were not separate. When a person was ill, they were treated holistically, meaning that the physician would not consider the ailment, but the whole being - body, mind and spirit. They would look for any imbalance in the energy field (aura) of the person and treat them with the crystal needed to bring their energy field back into balance. With their energy balanced once again, everything slotted back into place and the individual healed.

If our energy is out of balance, we can experience: ill health, lack of well-being, tiredness, depression, stress, lack of self-esteem, inability to cope with ourselves and our life, just not feeling good. Physical, mental and emotional discomfort is often just blocked energy in the body which creates imbalance in us.

To be healthy, we need a high rate of vibration in all areas of our physical and energetic bodies. We need to have a clear Aura along with energized and balanced Chakra's. If something enters the body which irritates the system, such as a bad food entering our digestive system, or a stressful situation disturbing our peace of mind, the result is a slowing down in the normal vibrational pattern of the body, a clogging in the Auric field and Chakra System which can cause dis-ease or illness. (Dis-ease is the body in a state of being 'not-at-ease'). We are then more susceptible to negative energies and harmful environmental influences which can invade us, and the cycle of poor health becomes self-perpetuating.

Becoming a Crystal Therapist

Crystal Therapy is a non evasive and very relaxing therapy, Various Crystals are placed on and around the fully clothes person to induce deep relaxation, release stress and pain, and promote energy balance within the physical and subtle bodies. Beautiful Crystals are placed on sites of pain, acupuncture points and on the subtle energy vortexes called chakras

How Crystals are used in Therapy

Crystals are living breathing energetic entities which have been around for millions of years. They absorb negative energy and radiate positive healing energy. Crystals have been used for balancing and healing throughout the ages. Each crystal has its own vibration. The energy they transmit has powerful effects on the different energy vibrations in a human being and therefore used for balancing, harmonising and attuning body, mind and spirit. Through this balancing and attuning, they help us to heal ourselves.

As we absorb Crystal energy not only through the eyes but also through the skin and the electromagnetic field or aura, Crystal Therapy can be used on the body in a number of different ways.

As with any therapy, each therapist may have his or her own 'style' however, a number of common methods used are:

The emotional, physical, mental and spiritual aspects make up the whole person and really one cannot be isolated from the other.

COURSE INFORMATION

The Atlantis Institute offers a one year diploma course in Crystal Therapy.  The purpose is to train students to become aware of their own true potential and open up their awareness so that they may help themselves and others.

Students are encouraged to work towards their own personal development. Working with Crystals opens new dimensions for spiritual growth to occur, initiating an awakening and expansion of consciousness.

In order to consolidate the weekend tuition material, students will be required to complete several case studies and written assignments in between weekend lessons. This material will form part of the ultimate assessment.  Practical work and theoretical study is a very important part of the curriculum. 

Additionally, students are encouraged to study recommended books from the book list supplied.

To qualify for a diploma in crystal therapy, students will be assessed on a continual basis as well as by a practical therapy demonstration and a written test at the end of the term

This one year study provides the foundation necessary for course accreditation. Two Modules have been compressed into a one year program consisting of twelve weekend throughout the term.

CLASSES

The numbers of participants are purposely kept small to ensure that the individual needs of each student can be met. 

The course covers the basic foundation of Crystal Healing. It consists of lectures and practical work, where techniques are demonstrated and students practice the methods which include physical, mental, spiritual and emotional levels together with specific health conditions. An examination will follow at the end of the term and successful students will receive a Diploma as a Practitioner of Crystal Therapy.

Full Attention is given to our students to ensure that they are comfortable and cared for. All Course material is provided along with Lunch and refreshments which consit of:

Morning Coffee, including freshly ground Coffee, Selection of Herbal and Fruit Teas, Fresh Juices, Fresh Fruit and Biscuits.

Lunch, includes Main Course (Menu available), served with Fresh Vegetables or Salad & Home Made Brown Bread, Dessert and Tea or Coffee

Afternoon Tea, including Freshly Ground Coffee, Selection of Herbal and Fruit Teas, Fresh Juices, Fresh Fruit & Biscuits.

Practitioner Qualification.
When you graduate we can introduce you to an Irish insurance company.

With your Atlantis Institute (AI) qualification and insurance cover you will be entitled to practice your therapy.

You will also be entitled to Life Membership with the IAOHT (Irish Association of Holistic Therapists)

This Diploma Course will commence weekend 9th & 10th October 2010 and will run for 15 months excluding June, July & August. Course will be held on the third weekend of each month.
